Ride the Tide Tips & Hints
Rank Progress in Ride the Tide is based on your number of Jackpot Spins. You get a Jackpot Spin for winning 10 hands.
Make sure you do not leave the game or change rooms in the middle of your progress towards a spin. You will always start at the bottom of the scale every time you enter a room and lose any progress towards a spin that you had the last time you played.
The key to winning a hand is to try to get your hand to three cards. The odds that the dealer will be able to draw a third card and guess correctly is less than 1 in 4, so if you can get your hand to three cards, you will win a lot of hands. If you have three cards already, do not draw extra cards unless you have a very good card (A, K, 3 or 2).
Split whenever possible! You want to play as many hands as you can, as your surfer dude cannot go down when you lose.
Save your power-ups for crucial times. If your first card is a bad (7-9), just take a guess and don’t waste one. If your second card is bad, it is a great time to use a power-up so that you can get your hand to 3 cards.
Save your “Dealer No Draw” card for when you have multiple splits going. If you have four splits and only have two cards on them, the “Dealer No Draw” card will give you four wins!
