Since Tumble Tiles was released, I have received a lot of emails and comments here about how frustrating it was to get stuck at level X, or how hard it was to get 3 stars on levels X, Y, and Z.
Currently you have to 3-star every level to get the rank 30 badge. And, on top of that, Pogo has already created rank badges for ranks 40 and 50, so it’s expected we’ll be getting more levels in the near future. When they add them, we’ll most likely have to get 3-stars on every single one — new and old — to earn all of the available badges.
Trust me, I know how frustrating it is — I was stuck on level 67, 116, 127, and others for hours and hours, but I stuck with it and after trying many different strategies and tactics, I eventually figured it out. To make sure that you don’t have to spend as much time as I did, I recorded every attempt until I got three stars so I could put a video together with my best tips and tricks for you. I looked at all of the comments and emails to put together a spreadsheet tracking which levels were most often brought up, and I started with those.
Each guide contains a video showing how to get 3 stars on that level, annotated with tips and detailed explanations of what I’m doing and why. I’ve also bundled in a bonus strategy guide with text and sometimes screenshots, that shows you a general strategy, guidelines, and tips for three-starring the level. Here are the 12 I’ve created so far:
I’m using Gumroad to host the videos — it’s an ecommerce platform you might already be familiar with because I’ve used it for the sales of . They’ve got a really great built-in video delivery system. I’m able to package both the video and guide into one product and you can view them online instantly. Gumroad also lets me set up these Tumble Tiles video and strategy guides as “pay-what-you-want”, which means you name your own price.
For those of you who have asked how you can support or donate to the site, this is how. These are quality guides I’ve created specifically to help you out, so if they help you, if you like what I’m doing at j-zotin, or if you’ve enjoyed all of the free content j-zotin has provided for years you can kick in a little to say thanks.
